Providing Lifesaving Medical Care in Remote Areas of Myanmar
Providing Lifesaving Medical Care in Remote Areas of Myanmar
In Myanmar’s remote regions, healthcare is a luxury that few can access. Our mobile medical clinics travel to these areas, bringing essential medical services to ethnic minority communities who would otherwise go without care.
Mobile Clinics on the Move
Each week, our mobile clinics visit villages and provide general check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for common ailments. We have a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that these communities receive the care they need.
Personal Stories from the Field
One of our patients, a 65-year-old woman named Hla, hadn’t seen a doctor in over a decade. She tells us, “I had been suffering from joint pain for years, but there was no one to help. When the mobile clinic arrived, they not only treated me but also showed me exercises I could do to ease my pain.”
The Impact of Mobile Healthcare
Since the launch of our mobile clinics, we have provided medical care to over 10,000 individuals. Our goal is to expand these services and ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to healthcare access.
